The Naracoorte Township Traffic Management Plan and Drainage Study will deliver lasting benefits as will the solutions to sewerage and effluent issues that have been determined.
Council’s Youth Advisory Committee has been a success story and the participants are fine young ambassadors for our community, of whom we should all be proud. They are our future and Council is committed to nurturing their development.
Affordable local housing was a problem that Council worked extremely hard on to determine a solution. The announcement of a pilot project involving the State Government and a private building firm was just reward for all of the energy spent on searching for a solution. This announcement led to other developers bringing forward plans for the opening up of other housing estates.
The Council is committed to encouraging new and supporting existing business and commercial enterprise wherever such enterprise is consistent with the social and environmental requirements of the community.
